What are the Alliances for Climate Action?
The Alliance for Climate Action was formed in 2018 by international institutions, with the aim of calling the civil society and sub-national governments (provinces and municipalities) to make their necessary contribution to the change of paradigm represented by fighting against climate crisis. Alliances for Climate Action (ACAs) so far throughout the world.
To this date, alliances have been built in eight countries: USA, Japan, Mexico, Argentina, Australia, Vietnam, South Africa, and Brazil.
Although each of these local Alliances report to the International Alliance, they have their own dynamics and goals, in line with each country’s economy, culture, needs, and possibilities.
