Created in 2018, the Alliance for Climate Action Argentina (ACAA) is made up of a group of institutions representing various sector of civil society—agriculture, the private sector, municipalities from all over the country, the Province of Santa Fe, NGOs and universities.
The ACAA seeks to recognize, catalyze and multiply the will of its members by mobilizing, integrating and scaling up local efforts and actions in order to actively contribute to the Paris Agreement (2015) goal of keeping the average temperature increase below 1.5°C and ensuring the adaptation of our societies, thus starting to close the current gap that separates ambition from implementation of global agreements. This new paradigm calls us to work together to shape a better future!
We endeavor to maximize existing efforts to fight against the climate crisis without overlapping efforts with other initiatives in place. In this sense, the best stakeholders in each sector are brought together to create synergy among them.
